Description
Here's an amazingly engaging technology project I created for use in a middle school computer class.
The simple process of creating comics from photos using Google Slides can be adapted to fit many different classes and subjects. When students learn the basic process, they'll be able to make comics for other classes or for their own creative ideas.
This assignment comes in two parts. You'll get a PDF version and a link to Google Docs versions, so you can edit them if you have a Google account or G Suite for Education account.
In Part 1 of the assignment students will learn to make comics using Google Slides with photos I provide. The link to those photos is included in the directions. Any computer or Chromebook can be used as long as students have Google accounts (G Suite for Education accounts).
The second part of the assignment requires them to take their own photos. We used iPads and my directions take them through the process. You'll be able to edit the Google Doc version of the directions if you have to describe a different process based on your classroom resources.
Also, please be sure to see my ebook Creating Comics with G Suite Apps, available from my store on Teachers Pay Teachers.
