This display resource aims to educate pupils on how to make comments on a school or class blog so that it becomes an educational tool. It could also be used, of course, to educate pupils on how to interact on any online community, thereby teaching the skills of digital citizenship and online behaviour.
The resource consists of posters of nine basic rules for pupils to follow to make an online blog more meaningful. Rules in the resource include: “Be careful with humour. Don’t say anything that might sound sarcastic or rude” and “Compliment the writer in your comment”.
There are ten pages in the resource – all of the nine rules are on a colourful laptop background with a header on a monitor background.
The borders are from Adventures of a Techie Bookworm on Teachers Pay Teachers. The font used is from Hello Literacy also on Teachers Pay Teachers.
