Making Fry’s Sight Words Stick is an interactive approach on practicing Fry’s sight words. Students will sequentially be introduced to five sight words per week. Dr. Edward B. Fry’s sight words are the most common words in our English language. They are ranked in order of frequency and should be taught in that order. This product includes the first 100 words.
How to use:
There is one worksheet for each sight word. Each sheet follows the same easy to understand format. Students will quickly become familiar with getting materials ready for this activity. For each worksheet students will: read and underline the word, name and highlight the letter(s) of the sight word, cover the top half of their paper and make a mental picture of the word, make the word using individual letters (cut and paste), and check the word.
