This fun activity allows students to manipulate the worksheet.
Students will quickly review what a generalization is. Then they will read statements made by character children. They will decide if the statements are generalizations or not. The students will then cut out the boxes with the statements and sort them onto the next page into either the "We Know It!" (generalization) box or the "Help Us Please" (not generalization) box. This activity can either be a center or a worksheet. Depending on the needs and reading levels of your students, it can be used across multiple grade levels.
