Everything you need to launch experiment writing about solids and liquids changing in your classroom with a simple and engaging experiment! All you need are mini mason jars and heavy whipping cream!
In our third grade classroom, we had been studying states of matter. I bought 4 ounce mini mason jars at Wal-Mart so that each student had one. We filled them half-way with heavy whipping cream. We spent about 20 minutes shaking them vigorously. I put on GoNoodle Indoor recess videos for the kids to dance to while mixing! I would recommend that if you are going to do this with younger students to do one mason jar for every 2 children so they can take turns shaking...they will get tired!
