This game uses riddles to prompt students to make inferences. Students create their own bingo cards by choosing and writing 24 words onto a blank bingo page. During the game, the teacher reads 3 clues aloud, students infer the answer, then cover the answer if it is on their card. A mini-poster is also included. Great for the whole class or small groups!
I deliberately created riddles that could have more than one answer...until the third and final clue is read. Students can be so impatient and often blurt out answers, but this game makes the point that it's always best to gather all available clues before making a final inference.
