This lesson provides 3 visual supports plus a graphic organizer for students working on inferential language using the terms "drawing conclusions" and "think, know, guess" and 6 short stories for instruction.
The activity is designed to be used for direction instruction, guided practice or independent practice on identifying clues within a story/text and answering implicit questions following a short story. Each of the stories include a picture to capitalize on visual learning followed by the short story.
There are 6 stories in total. The teacher can read aloud for listening comprehension or students can read for reading comprehension.
