Every student, regardless of background knowledge can relate to photos of school! Here are 30 photo task cards that students can use to infer what is happening or has happened in the picture. Each card features a photo of a school event, or activity. Students must use their inferencing skills to determine what is happening in the photo.
These would be great for any literacy center, small group or independent activity. Students could use these cards to complete an inferencing graphic organizer or write a paragraph explaining their inference based on the visual clues in the photo.
