Inferring can be difficult! Sometimes it's hard to say what wasn't said! But, like with anything, with a little practice it becomes easier and easier! A definition will be provided by the teacher and warnings and tips are built in.
Students will copy a sentence provided by the teacher or chosen out of a text. They will then use a sentence starter to infer upon their sentence. Finally, there is a check list they can use to self-reflect/evaluate or to have a peer, teacher, or parent etc. evaluate them (evaluations are based on correct/incorrect inferences and linked to common mistakes)! Practice will make perfect!
There is a 4 entry page and a 5 entry page. Each set has a page for a grade and a page w/o the grading option. It's all up to you! Designed for multiple uses, multi-use.
