How often do you tell your kids "Alright, now go say you're sorry"? I know I'm guilty of that! But in addition to saying "sorry", I think we can all agree on how important it is for students to know exactly what they are apologizing for in order for it to be sincere.
This 4 step apology poster is a great resource for helping students learn to make meaningful and sincere apologies. By using this system, they are explicitly apologizing for their actions, as well as making a game plan as to how they can react differently if the situation occurs again.
This freebie includes the poster in 4 sizes - 1 per page, 2 per page, and 4 per page.
In my classroom, I keep the full size poster posted at all time in the front of my room. I use the smaller size ones to hand to students when they need to reference. They also are a great reference if you choose to make your student write out their apology.
I hope you find these posters to be helpful in your classroom! If so, I'd LOVE for you to leave so feedback below! :)
