It is so important to teach our students not to be afraid of making mistakes! We all make them, and I think it is very important to discuss that they will happen, and they help us learn and grow. The activities in this unit are designed to go with the amazing book "The Girl Who Never Made Mistakes" by Mark Pett and Gary Rubinstein.
Suggested Use of materials to cover one week of activities, and one week of narrative writing

-Making Mistakes vs. Not Trying
-Compare/Contrast Beatrice and her brother
-Compare/Contrast Beatrice at the beginning vs. at the end
-STEM challenge: Build a hamster wheel for Humbert!
-Writing: Tell the story from Humbert's Point of View
-Narrative Writing: Write a narrative of a mistake you made:
-4 publishing pages
