Product Description
This is an originally written non-fiction "book", (originally written by me), of how mummies are made. I wanted the "book" to be a high-interest piece and a tool to teach comprehension rather than one that was too technical. I included vocabulary cards, a journal writing page,a graphic organizer, and a vocabulary portable word wall as well as the review game for comprehension.

NEW: I added standards for 5th and 6th grades, ESL Insights (guide for teachers of ELLs), a mummy organizer page, and new graphics throughout.

I created a mummy review game for two players that of course could be duplicated for however many students were playing. It has directions for playing and an answer key for the game cards. There are 19 pages total. Website sources are listed and some have interactive games for kids about Egypt. Special thanks to mycutegraphics.com for borders and frames. Colored pages reproduce well in black and white.
