Product Description
In this activity students can either design their own rectangular box and
rectangular pyramid that have a base of 6 cm by 8 cm and height of 6 cm or use a supplied template to make the two models.
Then students can use materials like rice to study the relationship of the two
volumes to determine that the volume of the pyramid is one-third the volume of the rectangular box.
The grid paper will also assist the students in determining the surface area of the two figures.
