This powerpoint is intended for use as a quick daily language mini-lesson. The lesson extends for four days, and will take about 10 minutes per day. Rather than simply giving students a workbook page, this powerpoint shows students real life examples of apostrophe usage and asks them to find the errors and write the words correctly.
If you choose to use the lesson as written, students will need whiteboards and dry erase markers, 3 index cards (singular, plural, possessive) and a ziplock bag with ten nouns. The nouns for the ziplock bags are also included in the powerpoint.
