Making predictions is a necessary strategy for students to develop to enhance their reading comprehension.
This contains 4 graphic organizers that can be used with any text. The first two are printable. One allows students to write a prediction and note the text for the reason for their prediction. The second organizer lends itself to a discussion about how predictions may change as you read and what text details led to that change of thought.
The second two graphic organizers are interactive. They include assembly instructions and I find them highly motivating for my AIS population.
There are also 2 8x10 posters included as well as half sized posters. I tape the half sized versions to my students' desks as a reminder of the strategy I'm teaching.
I hope you find this useful!
