Do you often find yourself teaching lists of verbs and vocabulary without the students actually learning to use Spanish? ¡No se preocupe! Don't worry, I'm going to show you a startegy that you can teach your students to effectively build complete sentences in Spanish. I've used this in several classrooms and it was also the way I learned Spanish.
Few people who have taken Spanish to fulfill their language credit actually speak it, and I hope that this will help to change that. When used correctly, my strategy will get them speaking, listening, reading and yes, even eventually writing in Spanish (and it may also be effective for other Romance languages as well). I also plan to post supplimental materials consistent with this strategy, so you will have even more at your fingertips.
So what are you waiting for? I'm convinced that this will help your students "make sense out of Spanish."
