Description

Start with a classic folktale, add a few musical instruments and some cackling witches, and end with a big musical explosion! Combine a classical children’s book with music to transform the story of Stone Soup into Spooky Soup that magically changes musical instruments into an enchanted pot of spooky music. Then children will work collaboratively to create, creating, imagine and explore music together. This lesson plan also includes activities to extend the fun that will have students exploring Toccata in D, by Johann Sebastian Bach, and creating their own spooky music together. Halloween Character Cards can be downloaded in a separate file. See my shop for details.
