Making Ten Card Game
Making ten is an important skill for young learners and this fun card game will help with that skill!
Put cards in a bag, basket, bucket, etc. Students pull a card and tell how many more to make ten. Cards have ten frames, fingers, numbers, or cubes. They can use the ten frame provided in this document along with a manipulative of their choice to help them or they can practice fluency to make ten with the cards.
Other ways to use this: Use as a warm-up to your math lesson; during calendar routines; put cards on a binder ring and use during transitions; use at a math station; use during small group math lessons.
