Your students will love working on fluency with this bundle!
These set are sold separately, but save by getting all 3 sets bundled right here!
Within this bundle your students will meet The Tens Friends. The Tens Friends are characters that help explain pairs that make 10. Included is an anchor chart called, “Tens Friends.” This is a great visual and introduction to the concept. A black and white version, in two formats, is included for students’ interactive math journals.
Students will have the opportunity to get up & move around (independently or within cooperative groups) with the Math Around the Room & Scoot 2-in-One Activity.
Hands-on learning is memorable with the Show Me 10 Center. Students will work with 21 task cards and a center activity booklet. By printing and laminating the work mat (included) you have a reusable option for recording answers. This is a great print-saving option when a student may be using this center more than once as remediation and intervention.
Keep the learning going with the fun My Tens Friends Activity Booklet! This booklet lets students practice fluency with pairs that make 10 in a variety of ways! Not only will they be practicing facts, but students will be recognizing patterns throughout. This booklet includes an, “I Can…” statement in student friendly language, a, ”Meet the Tens Friends Anchor Chart,” 7 activity pages, and our cute apple friends throughout. Many opportunities for higher order thinking and cooperative learning can be found when done as a class or in small groups.
A teacher’s key is also included for everything! This can be especially useful if you use these activities during center time and have students self check.
This bundle is a great addition to your beginning of the year assessments, during an apple theme, and/or after reading the book, “Apples on Top,” by Dr. Seuss.
