This no-prep Making Words for the entire year! is perfect for your word working stations or writing centers! You'll have everything you need for each season, including the making words activities AND illustrated vocabulary cards!

Students read, build (cut and paste letter tiles), write, and illustrate monthly themed vocabulary words. For a challenge, I have the students write a sentence using the focus word.

Visual discrimination, letter identification, concepts of print, and fine motor skills, are reinforced using letter tiles to build the word independently. Great for balanced literacy, paired learning activities, daily 5, writing centers, differentiated activities, ELL, ESL, SLO support, or homework.
