Product Description
On many high stakes state testing one component is open response or essay questions.
Many have 2 or 3 parts and often the verb in Part A. is List, Tell or Name. This powerpoint is designed for reading questions. It teaches students not only to make a list to answer the question from rereading the text but how to use making a list as an analyzing tool by answering what goes on the list and what doesn't and why. I have looked at all released questions, all questions designed by individual districts in Kentucky and about 80% of the questions or more use List, Name or Tell as a Part A verb. The other two verbs used very often on tests are Describe and Explain. I will be posting similar powerpoints using Explain and Describe soon
