This mini-project is intended to show students how historians use timelines to illustrate cause and effect.
The directions are formatted as a PowerPoint presentation. After a brief explanation of how timelines are used and what timelines can look like, students are instructed to create a timeline that highlights the ten (10) most important events in their life. Each event must include the month and year, and must be accompanied by a picture.
The resource includes a blank timeline that can be copied for each student.
The PowerPoint uses a Calibri font (which can be altered as needed), and is saved using a Word 97-2003 format. Due dates and points possible can be adjusted as well.
