PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

This handout provides students with directions on creating an inclinometer to use during the unit on trigonometric ratios, specifically the tangent ratio, when trying to find the height of unknown objects.

Students can use an inclinometer to find the angle of elevation of a flag pole, the ceiling, a tree or any other object.

This handout goes with the "Angles of Elevation and Depression" project.
