With this material I present two activities for encouraging our students to write in Spanish and practice word order:
Activity 1: Word Order
One of the things that I have noticed in my class is the difficulty my students have to put sentences in order, the word order in a sentence, and also when making questions. So this is a very good set of exercises that allow students to work together and practice how sentences are formed in Spanish, and how to make questions, and something very important how not to ignore the question mark at the beginning of a question.
Activity 2: Making sentences:
In this activity I give my students a word bank that they can use to write sentences and questions. This is a great activity for them to practice. What I do is to print it and get it laminated so they can write using dry markers and I can use the same paper many times with all my classes. The other good reason to laminate it is that it is in color and they love it! You can also just print the papers for them. It is up to you! It works perfectly both way!
I hope you find this resource so helpful as I do.
