PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Want to make your Anne Frank unit more relevant and add rigor to your lessons?

After reading the play or diary of Anne Frank, have students read excerpts from I Am Malala. When readings are complete, students will complete charts over similarities and differences between the two girls' lives. I have included some common ideas, but I'm sure your students will imagine even more!

In this bundle you will receive a common lesson plan I use, two charts (one for Anne's life, one for Malala), essay instructions (to use with your regular or advanced students), and a fill in the blanks essay (to use with struggling writers or students with IEPs). All are editable to fit your classroom's needs! :)

This lesson works well with secondary grade levels, and it includes ways to differentiate instruction (fill in the blanks essay).
