Use this Science powerpoint lesson to introduce mammals and their characteristics to your students during your life science unit. The PowerPoint has a mini lesson on identifying mammals based on their characteristics (born live, feed milk to young, fur or hair, warm-blooded.) Students take notes during the lesson on the graphic organizer during the lesson. Hatched or Not Hatched is a class activity included in the PowerPoint where students view pictures of animals/reptiles/amphibians and they have to determine whether the animal is a mammal or not.
