A 23-question worksheet to accompany this video where host Bear Grylls works his way through the islands and oceans off the Coast of the Dominican Republic before traveling through the dense jungles of the mainland. This is an excellent video for science or social studies classes in grades 6-12.
Episode summary: Bear Grylls has some tips on how to survive the hurricane season and he also eats a cooked tarantula to survive. He tells us about the hairs on the tarantula's back legs and how they defend themselves using the hairs. Bear then battles raging rivers, climbs steep cliffs on vines, and tussles with a deadly centipede.
Questions on the assignment go in order and will help students remain focused on key science topics.
