Manage mischief in your classroom by selecting a mystery walker, mystery worker, mystery listener, and/or mystery friend each day! This resource has everything you need to implement each of these mystery motivators in your classroom.
The premise is simple. You will draw a student's name, but will not tell the class whose name you drew. You will then watch the mystery student closely to see if they behave appropriately in specific situations (see below). After a time you announce the mystery student and conference with them about their behavior. If they behaved appropriately, they get a certificate or a brag bracelet (or both!). The packet includes printables for 4 different types of mystery motivators:
~ Mystery Walker (walking correctly in the hallway)
~ Mystery Listener (listening during whole & small group instruction)
~ Mystery Friend (age-appropriate social skills)
~ Mystery Worker (working appropriately during independent centers/seat work)
The packet contains the following printables for each type of mystery motivator:
~ Mini-poster with specific behavior expectations (color)
~ Cards for student names (blackline)
~ Labels for a container to store the student names (color & blackline)
~ "I was today's Mystery _______!" certificates (4 per page - blackline)
~ "I was today's Mystery _______!" brag bracelets (6 per page - blackline)
