Workstations are areas in your classroom where students work with a partner using materials to reinforce or support a concept without the teacher's assistance. In order for the students to work productively during workstations, it is necessary to teach students how to work independently. This packet contains 24 questions that you need to consider before opening a workstation in your classroom. The ideas presented in this material are just suggestions that I tried and currently use in my classroom. You are welcome to use these suggestions or modify them as you like. These questions help you think and reflect about the workstations in your classroom. What works in my classroom may not work in yours.
