Product Description
Mandala simply means "circle". This is a great activity to help support character education in your classroom. Begin by doing breathing/relaxation techniques of your choice and then have students quietly reflect on a specific word with their eyes closed. Once they open their eyes, they will draw the first thing that popped into their mind when they heard the given word. It could be a color or colors, an impression, a scene, a memory, etc. There are no wrong answers. Once all students have completed their mandala, they may choose to share their work with the class.

* Promotes open dialogue among peers
* Supports character development, peace, and empathy
* Creates a calming brain break opportunity
