Students are to give the opposite command of what is given. If the command is positive, they make it negative. If the command is informal, they make it formal (singular).
(+) tú = (-) Ud.
(-) tú = (+) Ud.
(+) Ud. = (-) tú
(-) Ud. = (+) tú
This worksheet incorporates regular and irregular commands in all forms, as well as reflexive, direct and indirect object pronouns. Students should have a strong understanding of both command formations to do this activity. This activity gives students a great opportunity to analyze how the command is formed and determined the opposite in all aspects, particularly when pronouns are involved and the word order or the pronoun itself will change.
