Students will use the manifest destiny short story reading (another document that can be purchased through my page) and will complete the graphic organizer. They can use the fact box if necessary (I have modified in the past to have students cut the long strips out and glue to the organizer. They can then either land label each land acquisition in map or cut out individually and paste (which is shy there are 2 copies of the map). I have colored them and labeled them myself in the past and then ran them off on a color copier. I then cut them out myself and put in little baggies for students to complete like a puzzle, but I teach special ed.
