Used during a unit on the Renaissance, this is a lesson with the graphic organizers necessary to do a close read of a video segment on the invention of the Printing Press.
It uses 2 column notes and multiple exposures to the video so that students are responsible for taking notes rather than just answering questions from a traditional viewing guide.
Afterwards, discussion sentence starters and a written discussion template are included to facilitate partner discussion about the impact of the Printing Press.
