Product Description
The story of Manlius Capitolinus and the sacred geese saving Rome from invasion, translated into simple Latin appropriate for Latin I. Practices 2nd declension neuter nouns (auxilium, telum, etc) and the use of the ablative case to show means or instrumen (baculo = with a stick). One page, vocabulary included. It generally takes my Latin I students a single 42-minute period to translate this story. Myth adapted and translated by Sara Sprunk.
