As preschool educators we strive to support the development of the “whole child”.
This includes providing experiences that address social, emotional, cognitive and physical aspects of development.
This resource will be very helpful in assisting little ones to become aware of their feelings and their behaviors.
Developing social skills, making friends, interacting with others will help children function positively in the preschool setting.
They will learn the rules and routines to help them participate in the group life of their preschool class.
This resource has eight word art mini-posters (8.5” by 11”) indicating a social skill or behavior. There are also eight full color mini-posters that illustrate that behavior.
Posters are the following:
• Be Kind
• Cover Your Mouth
• Raise Your Hand
• Keep Your Hands to Yourself
• Say Please and Thank You
• Take Turns
Activities are provided with prompts to help discuss the pictures and to discuss why good manners are important.
Posters can be used to assist in developing School Rules with your students.
Posters can be used in classroom displays as reminders to children to use appropriate school behaviors.
