This poster is a great way to keep the mass "alive" all week long! The “mantra” in the Catholic school classroom is actually the responsorial psalm from the previous Sunday’s liturgy. I print the poster out using the 2x2 poster printer settings, then I laminate so that I can use a dry erase marker to change the mantra weekly.
Post the “Mantra of the Week” poster in your classroom in the front or by your prayer table wherever it is easily seen by your students. At the beginning of each week, write down the responsorial psalm from the previous Sunday (go to www.usccb.org if you do not have it available) along with the location in scripture (ex: The Lord is my shepherd, there is nothing I shall want. Psalm 23:1). In my classroom, we recite the mantra at the end of each prayer we say together, and sometimes we repeat it together just to refocus and remember the most important thing in our lives: praising God!
