Daily Visual Timetable for Māori medium classrooms (full immersion or bilingual).
Kia ora Kiwi teachers! Te Wātaka (the Māori version of my Daily Visual Timetable) is a set of colourful and appropriately illustrated, learning activity/routine and time cards to assist you in constructing a visual timetable/schedule for daily or weekly use inside a Maori medium education setting. Te reo Maori is the only language used in this set, so it is suitable for a total immersion or bilingual classroom. I’ve had the support of two wonderful teacher friends (who both teach in Maori medium settings) to create this resource.
Style: Bright Chevron Borders
Request additional cards: I do recognise that you may want additional cards to cater for your specific class or kura and I am happy to create these for you. All I'll need for this, is an email from you with the Māori kupu you need for your extra cards (with correct macron placement if any) and a brief description of what image/s you’d like.
I’ve found the best way to display my daily timetable is on the classroom whiteboard. All you need to do is print out the files, laminate, cut out and attach a magnet to the back of them (I find adhesive magnetic tape works the best, but if you don’t have this readily available, good old blue tack will work in the meantime).
Also comes in 2 other styles, with bright chevron borders and Glitter Polka Dot Borders
