Differentiated Map Chart Template for Teaching Map Skills
by Skybyrd Teacher Resources.
I use this template with my middle school English Language Learners, but this can be used for younger children as well.
This template can be used with any map. I use the maps from ABC Teach
There are some free maps such as:
Free Map of Alabama
Free Map of Alaska
Free Map of Arizona
The site also offers other state maps for a fee.
I like this template because it provides picture support for students who need it. If you have ELLs in your class, this is great, even for beginner ELLs.
What you get:
• Map Chart Template Without Picture Support (1 Page)
• Map Chart Template With Picture Support (1 Page)
• Lesson Plan (2 Pages)
