Using map skills they've learned in class, students must design their own amusement park. Students must include map elements such as scale, a legend, symbols and more! They must also write about and explain their "best" ride. One of my students' favourite projects!
I encourage the students to pick a theme for their park - I've had Rock N' Roll Parks, Vampire Parks etc. A fun and unique way to finish a Geography or Mapping Unit!
