Product Description
This Map Skills practice page is a great way to get the children thinking about directions. (Some answers are direct - N,S,E or W, while others are more difficult like northwest, etc.) The children will be asked to choose the "best way" to travel from one place to another using street names. The map and questions incorporate kid friendly places like the park and true to life scenarios. Please note: The children will need to have been taught the difference between "west of a place" and "west of a street." The concept of west of a street covers a large area. Children will often look at the place on the map where the street name is printed, without taking into consideration that that street continues well beyond the printed street name. Contains one map page, two pages of questions and an answer sheet.
