The Make Your Own Map Project includes a choice of three map keys (partially filled-in symbols with cardinal directions, partially filled-in symbols with intermediate directions, and one with blank map symbols with intermediate directions) and different maps to choose from. Students can get as creative as they want. Map Skills are an essential part of social studies and life skills.
