There have been so many times when my students have no idea where a location is when they are translating or reading stories about the ancient world. This had to be cured!
This file contains 3 versions of a map of the ancient Roman Empire. Only a select group of provinces or bodies of water have been included. These locations have been chosen based upon their prevalence on the National Latin Exam and from the major stories, primary works, and historical events from a traditional Latin 1-3 program. Some of the locations may seem obscure for a Latin 1 student, but these locations have been known to pop up at a later time.
This file is a selection from the larger, complete geography unit found in my store.
This activty could work for ALL levels of Latin!
