Map Vocabulary Geography Lesson Plan

This geography lesson plan offers students three activities through which they can master the vocabulary of maps.

In the age of GPS and iPhones, we seem to be losing access to paper maps–but kids still need to learn map skills and develop their geography awareness. An excellent resource for classrooms of a range of age levels, this lesson plan helps students develop a strong foundation in geographic terms that can be built upon in various subjects.
