This worksheet has 6 endangered animals listed. The students are required to research where each animals lives (then they will write on the map where it lives) and research a reason or 2 for the animals' endangerment. Lastly, they are required to give ways that they PERSONALLY can help these animals. (things like: raise awareness, don't pollute the earth, send money to organizations to help rescue these animals, etc.)
This can be done as a web hunt, in science centers, or as a whole class.
This gives students a chance to combine science and geography and hopefully understand why it's important to protect animals.
