This worksheet is designed to give students a quick introduction to stage directions. Using a grid representing the stage, students get to see what different parts of the stage are called. Then, students are given stage directions from Shakespeare's The Winter's Tale, Arthur Miller's Death of a Salesman, and Miller's The Crucible. Using a color-coded key of characters and items, students are asked to draw circles representing the different characters and items on the grid to help them start to visualize dramatic texts.
NOTE: Because it's difficult to make a computer generated answer key with the various visuals already on the page, answers are NOT included. I kept the price low ($1.00) to compensate for the lack of an answer key. I'm sorry for any inconvenience.
