This ready to use Mapping The Civil Rights Movement Activity will give students a 13 step guided mapping activity about the events of the Civil Rights Movement. All students need to complete the assignment is a American History Textbook, Historical Atlas OR the internet. This is a great activity to leave with a substitute, since it requires only a textbook, crayons and no prep!
Included is the 13 step Mapping the Civil Rights Movement handout with and without point values. The 13 step handout also serves as a grade sheet/checklist for easy grading and assessment! Two copies of the map have also been provided, both with and without the state's names to help differentiate for your students.
