A primary source analysis of how maps changed over the course of the late Middle Ages and Renaissance. This provide students with an opportunity to see why the voyages of the Age of Discovery/Exploration were so dangerous and so often went off course. It would also work well with any basic introduction to map skills as it extends into much deeper analysis.
