This is a fun lesson to give to teens and adults as it helps to teach the versatility of ordinary paper. I have laid out visual step by step instructions on how to fold and put together your own Harry Potter style Marauders Map using plain paper and tape or glue sticks. I use this lesson as a visual art history report for my students which can give more opportunities for the student to add lots of images as well as written details that can be hidden throughout the map. I also love to have my older students work on a treasure/secret keeper Marauders Map that gives them the chance to explore complex pop-ups. It helps to exercise the imagination of all ages.
