Description

The March Madness Word Work and Activity resource is chock full of shamrocks and leprechauns and language arts activities for the month of March.

The Shamrock Hop is a file folder game where students practice sight words. The sight words to be practiced are not predetermined, so this game will fit right in to any classroom, age-level, or student need. It can be used over and over again to practice a variety of words.

☘Do your students struggle with writing complete sentences that make sense? Clever Clover is a card game where students create compete sentences from a group of words. It includes 8 sets of cards and a recording sheet blackline master.

Lenny Leprechaun's Trip to the Rainbow offers a mini-lesson on using a variety of verbs to help tell the tale of Lenny's journey. It includes an 8-page book with blanks for appropriate verbs and illustrations.

☘There are several March and spring themed Fix-a-Sentence activities that allow students to practice their editing skills, along with appropriate construction of complete sentences that make sense.
