This rainbow sight word was created for a fun sight word center where I printed out the rainbows, laminated them and then placed them in a bin full of cotton balls. The students had to dig through looking for the sight words and then write the word they found on the recording sheet. There is three differentiated sheets so you can decide how many sight words you want the students to write. The same list of words are included on pots of gold where you can place them in your sensory bin full of gold spray painted beans.
You can also use this center to make matches of the sight words. Students choose a rainbow and read the word. They find the matching pot of gold with the correct word. This game makes a great sight word center.
You can also use them as a write the room activity where you tape the sight words up around the room.
Over 80 sight words are included from the Dolch Pre-Primer and Primer Word lists, including a blank page to write your own.
